This book was an inspiration. Full of witty humor and rich characters, Joanna Davidson Politano creates a book worth reading.

Tressa Harlowe responds to a call to come back home only to find that her father has died, or at the very least fully disappeared. After hiding his fortune, she must now fight off greedy family members and villagers who all want a piece of it. This book is nothing short of a fascinating treasure hunt and I loved every second of it.

At first, I wondered if a treasure hunt could be a worthy frame to build a story around, yet Joanna Davidson Politano built in such a rich depth of truth and philosophy into the text, A Rumored Fortune is nothing less than excellent. I give this book a 5 star rating, simply because it provoked in me a deeper search for my own connection to the true vine – Jesus Christ. With vivid characters and vineyard imagery this book stirs deeper levels within the reader and will not disappoint.
