Salvation is a threshold not a destination. As struggles, hardships and persecution touches our lives it is our faithfulness that will withstand the test of time. Timothy says, “If we have died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful – for he cannot deny himself.” Let’s pray for our loved ones, that as the writer of Hebrews says, they will not be “of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.”
